Affiliate Disclosures

FTC Disclosure Compliance Rules

In 2015, Federal Trade Commission set some new rules for Disclosure Compliance.

As per rule, it states that the reader or the viewer of web media should know that the blogger or publisher is making by sharing a link or product sample. The readers should be aware of the fact that the bloggers or publisher is sponsored, endorsed, or partnered with other companies.

By the guidelines set by FTC, please read the following about any posts and links on this site:

Any/all of the links that are posted on FaithBirds.com are affiliate links from which I receive small compensations of sales for certain items.

Defining Affiliate Links

When you (reader) click on a link located on faithbirds.com and make a purchase of an item, the reader buys the item from the seller but not from FaithBirds.

Then the company from which you purchased e.g Amazon or other companies pays FaithBirds a small compensation or few commissions for guiding the customers to buy their product.

You can be sure about the prices, it is exactly the same price tag if you buy from an affiliate or non-affiliate links. The prices will not change for the customers when purchasing by clicking in affiliate and non-affiliate links.

FaithBirds.com uses two main types of Affiliate programs:

  1. Amazon affiliate links

FaithBirds.com is a participant of Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program which is designed to provide a means for the website owner to earn commissions by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. If you buy any products from Amazon via those links, Amazon rewards us with a referral fee.

  1. Free product affiliate links

Sometimes, Manufacturers gives us free samples to review. We tend to write honest reviews on those products so if you click any product and then make a purchase, then I will a get a percentage of the sale or some other type of compensations. Of course, the prices will remain same if you click and buy from this site. You will not pay more as these links are not “pay per click”

  1. Sponsored Content

I believe in authenticity so therefore I provide with authentic and unbiased information of any products. I do not write any sponsored posts. If any company wishes to publish any sponsored content I will inform clearly in the starting of the post.

In a nutshell, I always want to recommend the products which I have used for myself or that I would recommend to family and friends.

Your purchases help me to make my research efforts worth it. This means a lot to me. On behalf of this Site, Thank you so much! Happy shopping, Cheers!
